The 23-year-old collected 11 goals and 24 points in 75 regular-season games, adding one goal in limited action during 12 playoff contests.

All but one point during his NHL career came last season. He picked up one assist in 16 games in 2008-09, and went scoreless in seven appearances in 2007-08.

However, Helm has accumulated seven goals and 10 points in 53 playoff games over the last three years, reaching a high of four tallies in 23 games two seasons ago.
